Neuroscience meets Quantum Physics meets Transpersonal...
My approach also combines neuroscience, which teaches us how to utilize our body-mind integration effectively, while becoming increasingly aware of our central nervous system (CNS) and its amazing self-regulating properties. This awareness then leads to deeper consciousness and the continual creation of a self-healing body and mind. Higher states of consciousness then move beyond the CNS and into less cause and effect responses and into more resonance in the now. This state of being embodies less fear, while embracing the mystery of what is continually unfolding and possible at any given moment in time. Inherent in the ‘now’ is more learning, natural curiosity and ability to acquire information from the higher realms of consciousness.
I also frequently combine the neurosciences with quantum physics, which has three essential principles;
We live in a participatory life, in that energy flows where attention goes. When we realize we live in a participatory universe, we have a deeper understanding within ourselves that enables us to move into integrative states of wellness: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. This also enlivens to our ability to create a new future NOW.
The human also learns in a foundational manner. This learning consists of abilities beyond our five senses, thus tapping into the higher realms of awareness and subsequently consciousness. For instance, take the example of learning to tie our shoes. Until we learn this seemingly basic task, we practice, perhaps wondering when we will learn the task. Once learned, that learned knowledge then moves into our consciousness as a learned memory, continually available to us without analysis.
As we learn to self-regulate our emotions through more disciplined thought, we move into deeper realization that we each contain infinite knowledge and wisdom within ourselves. We gain this realization in foundational stages. Woven into this process is becoming more accountable for our thoughts, feelings and actions, which decreases the victim stance. We need to be accountable for ourselves-this is what good therapy provides.
I also frequently combine the neurosciences with quantum physics, which has three essential principles;
- the existence of multiple realities,
- what we focus on expands (thought directs energy),
- every part contains the whole.
